Looking to buy a Disney Vacation Club Timeshare. Is it worth it?
Does/Has anyone ever owned a Disney Vacation Club Timeshare? It is based on a point system with no blackout dates, 50 yr deed, cost is a little over 20k for 225 pts. We can also use it to travel to many destinations all over the world, including cruises. We enjoy staying at Deluxe Disney Resorts and would also like to travel to Europe or the Caribbean. Is it worth it? Is it difficult to sell in the long run? Please provide me with as much insight as possible.
Timeshares are almost impossible to resell, unless you discount them at least 50%. They are not an investment, but rather they are puchasing future vacations now!
Research carefully before you spend your money, and do not expect to be able to resell the timeshare if you are not happy!
