What do you think of Disney abandoning traditional hand-drawn animation?
I for one hate the fact that they don’t make animated motion pictures anymore. the only reason disney gained so much fame is because of their animated films.
it’s true that CG is “in”, but they do seem kind of lifeless compared to Disney’s past work. CGI films such as finding nemo, incredibles, cars, etc. just don’t have the same charm of the good ol’ days where disney used hand-drawn animation to tell their stories.
Am i the only one that notices this?

The artistry of cartoons is yet another dying art form that has succumbed to the age of the computer. If you walk down Main Street USA at Disneyland, there is a little cartoon studio near the ice cream shop with an artist sitting at his desk near a window. He draws cartoons all day. It is wonderful to watch. It makes me sad to think that the true artists of the world have been replaced or upgraded by machines.
