Baking a ‘novelty’ cake, using a Disney’s Cars cake tin…a couple of questions if you don’t mind
1. Have you made a Disney’s Cars birthday cake?
2. Can you give me a yummy recipe that works well with novelty cake tins – I only asume that it’ll have to be pretty heavy cake – though I could be wrong (please no packet cakes as I’m in France and will probably not have access to it)
3 Can I make it the day before? And if so, whats the best way to store it overnight.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated

I just made one for my son’s 4th birthday, but I did use a store-bought mix ather than a homemade recipe. Try a white sheet cake recipe- that should work. You can totally make it the day before. Follow the instructions for unmolding it and put it on the platter you’re going to use. Cover it up with saran wrap and it will be fine for then next day. If you’re going to frost it the day before you should refrigerate it, and if you used an overly sticky frosting you might want to strategically place some toothpicks in there to keep the plastic wrap from sticking to it.
