Holiday Deals: Fun Birthdays in Disneyland Paris
Children of all ages will enjoy spending a day or a few days in Disneyland. For those that are lucky enough to be taken for their birthdays there are special holiday deals and experiences that will help make it even more fun and hassle free to spend their special day surrounded by the delights of the Disney experience. Getting to the park itself could not be easier and there are a range of options for holidaymakers travelling from close neighbouring countries including coaches and high speed trains. Visitors from the UK can take direct train services from London to Chessy station opposite the park’s main entrance.
Holidaymakers travelling from farther afield will fly in to either Charles De Gaulle airport or Orly Paris’ second airport. Once they have landed holidaymakers can get a train and see a few famous Parisian landmarks as they travel, or they can get a direct transfer from the airport taking around forty minutes. Once at the station holidaymakers have a short walk to their hotels, especially if staying in the Disneyland hotel which stands imperiously above the park’s turnstiles. Guests staying in the Disneyland hotel are treated to a daily breakfast meet and greet with Disney characters and for those staying in the other hotels there are character welcomes in the Disney villages restaurants.
Many parents will be happy to know that there are a number of all inclusive packages available in Disneyland Paris that make most things free for under twelve’s visiting the park. Children under seven get free access and accommodation for free anyway so that is one less thing for parents to worry about when planning for a hectic birthday trip abroad. Aside of Disney breakfast greetings young guests can enjoy tea parties with Disney characters which include a choice of sweet treats such as brownies, cookies and a choice of fresh pastries. The Lucky Nugget Saloon offers a buffet for holidaymakers that would prefer a more wholesome meal.
Parents can also book lunch and dinner reservations in Cafe Mickey for a meal with Disney characters. Cakes can be ordered for a big birthday meal surprise and one of the Disney restaurants has a special mealtime for young visitors to Fantasyland. Auberge de Cendrillon has lunch and dinner with Disney princesses so parents can dress their own little princesses up and go for an exciting meal after a fun day on the mild rides around Fantasyland. The attractions in Fantasyland include the Disney fairytale castle at the entrance on central plaza and a number of other rides.
It’s a small world is the most popular of the rides in Fantasyland, the area of Paris Disneyland catering mostly for younger visitors. Parents may find themselves singing along to the catchy music as they move through miniature world’s comprising o different lands and appropriately dressed characters and tribes from around the world. Alice’s labyrinth is another fun attraction but parents may struggle to keep hold of energetic little ones due to the fact there are areas of the maze that are only accessible to those under 1m tall.
