Doesn’t Highschool Musical remind you of Disney songs?
Like in a Aladdin – A whole new world, is like how Vanessa and Troy sing together
and in After Today of the Goofy music is like how they sing at the cafeteria all together.

No… movies like Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast are on an entirely different (and higher) level then HSM is on. Better singers, better songs, better orchestration, better… everything.
However, A Goofy Movie can be compared. Although I thought that the songs used in it were also better than what HSM had to offer.
Compared to the Disney masterpieces, High School musical is just a cute but cheap musical. It cant play on the same field as those movies. Not even in the same ballpark. And the only reason it’s as popular as it is because some cool kids somewhere made it an epidemic. Disney saw that it was catching on and jumped on the bandwagon because companies market was sales. It doesnt matter how good it is.
The classics on the other hand, were not only popular with the public, but with the critics as well. Beauty and the Beast almost won a best picture Oscar. HSM isnt going to do that. It can’t.
Well, that’s my humble “opinion” that I believe to be fact. Now bring on the thumbs down, HSM fans.
